Rivkah Standig had something come up, and the whole PyTN family is sending positive vibes in her direction. We hope to have her rejoin us next year.
While it is impossible to replace Rivkah, Adrienne Lowe is going to be keynoting in her stead, and bring her own kind of awesome to PyTN. Adrienne has been on a whirlwind tour since her excellent talk last year at PyTN.

Adrienne Lowe is a personal chef from Atlanta who documents her experience learning Python & teaching others to cook at her blog Coding with Knives. She organizes PyLadiesATL and DjangoGirlsATL and co-organizes PyATL. Adrienne is the Director of Advancement for the Django Software Foundation and is Chair of Corporate Sponsorship for Write the Docs Conferences. She is the tech editor for the second edition of O'Reilly’s Head First Python. She’s also PyTennessee sponsor Emma, Inc’s most recent addition to the customer support team.
Adrienne will be sharing “Bake the Cookies, Wear the Dress: Connecting with Confident Authenticity” at Saturday’s Afternoon Keynote. Are you interested in speaking at a tech conference, but you’re unsure how you might share relevant technical information in an engaging way? Are you in a position of leadership or mentorship in open source and want to be more approachable, accessible, and collaborative? In a fun and light-hearted talk, learn actionable suggestions for inspiring others with your own confident authenticity.
