Thanks to PYPTUG, the Python Piedmont Triad Users Group, for inviting me to speak at their monthly meeting last night!

I gave a slightly expanded version of the talk I gave at PyData Carolinas 2016 about connecting Python to compiled languages like C, C++, and Fortran. (Slides from that talk are here.) I appreciate the time and attention of everyone who attended last night, especially Francois Dion for organizing and reminding us of some of
the interesting new things in Python 3.5 and 3.6.
