PyCon took place online this year. We are sad we didn't get a chance to meet our fellow Pythonistas in person, but we are still glad for the opportunity to watch high quality talks from many accomplished members of our community.
If you didn't get the chance to watch the program live, here is a good news for you. The videos of the 2021 conference are now available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Uw4_HvXqvYk1Y5P8kryoyd83L_0Uk5K
Among the many excellent presentations, there are:
- Łukasz Langa on audio synthesis with frequency modulation
- Jeremy Paige on modern packaging practices
- Tobias Kohn on Pattern Matching, a new feature of the upcoming Python 3.10
- Mariatta Wijaya on being an open source maintainer
- fast paced sharing of ideas during the lightning talks: session 1, session 2
- Nina Zakharenko on using Python for making sick jackets full of mesmerizing blinking lights
