PyTennessee: PyTennessee 2016?

This year, we’ve hit what can only be called a series of unfortunate events: The Main Organizer got extremely ill and our fundraising efforts have not been very fruitful. So I thought it was time to turn to the community for help. We’re less than 30 days out from the event, and we are $15K short of our budget. We’ve not had anyone want to sponsor at top most levels, and our leads are drying up. If you wanna see the PyTN budget you can look at: http://jasonamyers.com/index.php/2014/03/03/so-you-wanna-start-a-conference-money/. ATM if we had to run the event, there would be a much different food setup, no swag bags, scratchy t-shirts, no stickers, and NO COOKIES! Also, only 10 young coders, which is the really sad part of all of this!

How can you help? I’m glad you asked. If you know of, work at, or run a company interested in helping us pull off a great event, please have them contact jason@mailthemyers.com. I feel like we have a great lineup of keynoters and speakers at this year’s event. It’s more diverse in everyway than we’ve ever had before. Help us make this happen.

Cheers,

Jason
